  • Our supply chain and subcontractors working on behalf of the company.
  • All projects, from design through to completion and aftercare.

  • Transition to renewable and low-carbon energy sources.
  • Embed waste reduction and circular economy principles.

  • Improve fleet efficiency and transition towards hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • Optimise transport routes and logistics to reduce emissions.

Materials & Waste

  • Apply the waste hierarchy: avoid, reduce, reuse, recycle.
  • Choose sustainable, responsibly sourced materials with low embodied carbon.
  • Avoid unnecessary single-use plastics.

Climate Resilience

Biodiversity

5. Responsibilities

  • Directors are responsible for approving and championing this policy.
  • Managers & Site Supervisors must ensure practices are followed on projects.
  • Employees are expected to carry out their work in line with this policy and suggest improvements.
  • Supply Chain Partners must align with our sustainability standards and objectives.

6. Monitoring & Review

  • Progress will be reviewed annually by the Senior Management Team.
  • Performance will be measured against our sustainability objectives.
  • The policy will be updated as legislation, standards, and best practice evolve.

7. Approval

This policy is approved and endorsed by the Board of Directors of Woodhart Construction Ltd.
