That’s why we’re always looking for young, local people to join the Woodhart team as an apprentice.
We provide apprentices with work experience, ongoing mentoring, college tuition and subsequent qualifications under the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Apprenticeship scheme.

The industry is so versatile, for both those who have studied as well as those who seek to come into carpentry without an educational background. The 9 to 5 job structure isn’t for everyone and within the carpentry industry each day is very different. We’ve been so proud of the achievements our apprentices have accomplished so far and so it’s only right to share it with all of you!
First up we have Morgan, our Woodhart apprentice who started with us in October 2020. He is doing an amazing job of 1st fixing at Berkeley’s Cranleigh.
Last but definitely not least, we have Sonny, who’s been working on a car port roof at Cala Homes in Horsham.
We can’t wait to see what else they and the rest of our apprentices get up to in the next few months.
